Alberta Introduces Crisis Loan Support to Help Residents Weather Economic Challenges

The program is being administered by the Alberta Treasury Branches (ATB), the province's largest financial institution. Applicants can apply for the loans online or by visiting their local ATB branch.
Since its launch in June, the Crisis Loan Support program has already received thousands of applications, with the government reporting that the majority of approved loans have been used to cover rent, utility bills, and other basic living expenses.
